Komunitas Salihara Arts Center, in collaboration with Artsociates, presents an art exhibition titled Adu Manis. This contemporary art event brings together three artists from Bandung: Gabriel Aries, Reggie Aquara, and Rendy Raka Pramudya. The exhibition opens on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 16:00 WIB and runs until September 21, 2025, at Galeri Salihara.
Curator Rifandy Priatna states that Adu Manis is more than an exhibition title. It is a metaphor that creates a new resonance between the artist, the material, and the audience.
"Adu Manis is a ritual of meeting. It invites us to connect our perception with the material, brush our sensitivity against the artwork's surface, and feel the resonance born from the silent collaboration between the artist, the material, and the audience."
"This exhibition is a space where tension is not an enemy. It is a catalyst for a new intimacy with art. It allows every individual, space, experience, memory, and presence to become part of that perfect connection," Rifandy adds.
